Organizations and Resources Network

The Institute of Religious Studies (ISER) is a non-governmental organization founded on June 26, 1970 in Campinas. Since 1979 it is headquartered in the city of Rio de Janeiro, and it engages in the struggle for the reduction of social inequalities, respect for cultural and religious diversity and social and environmental sustainability. Its thematic areas of work are: Religion and Society, Environment and Development, Violence and Human Rights, and Civil Society Organizations.
