The "Arab Media & Society" (AMS) journal, which is part of the American University in Cairo's Kamal Asham Center for Television and Digital Journalism, combines academic peer-reviewed articles with timely, on-the-ground accounts of political, economic, cultural and religious developments in the broader Middle East. The journal also covers all forms of media in the region, how the latter interact with different governments and societies, and how they impact the Muslim world at large.
