The Special Action Programme to Combat Forced Labour (SAP-FL) is part of the International Labour Organization and has been concerned to raise global awareness of forced labour in its different forms, as a necessary prerequisite for effective action against it. It conducts research on such diverse aspects of forced labor as bonded labor, human trafficking, forced domestic work, rural servitude, and forced prison labor.
