The Transatlantic Institute (TAI) works to strengthen the transatlantic bond, and fosters dialogue between the US and the EU on issues of mutual concern in the fields of global security, Middle East peace, and human rights. Its areas of focus include 1) defending universal human rights throughout the world; 2) promoting pluralism and shared democratic values; 3) combating antisemitism and all forms of intolerance; 4) confronting the spread of terrorism and nuclear proliferation; 5) supporting a negotiated and viable two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; and 6) advocating energy security.
