The European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) is an independent research and training center affiliated with the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), an umbrella organization of European trade unions. ETUI is made up of two departments: 1) a research department that conducts studies on socio-economic topics and industrial relations and monitors European policy developments affecting the world of labor and 2) an education department that provides training and learning activities to ETUC and its affiliates. ETUI aims to apply its expertise for the benefit of workers' health, safety and education.
