The Institute for the Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean (INTAL) is a unit of the Inter-American Development Bank. In supporting the latter's regional integration strategy, INTAL's specific activities include 1) promoting regional cooperation and planning; 2) establishing physical integration processes through infrastructure development projects; and 3) pursuing trade-centered training and capacity building.
