The Institute for Strategic and Development Studies (ISTAME) is a center of policy analysis and sesearch affiliated with the Greek Socialist Party (PASOK). The goals of the institute are 1) development of strategies for sustainable development and environmental protection; 2) to combat corruption and promote transparency through the methods of 'open government'; 3) assurance of equal opportunity, distributive justice in allocation of public goods, and social security.
