The Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) is an independent, nonprofit organization that focuses on educating Australian society on international affairs. In order to fulfill this goal, AIIA 1) sponsors and publishes research on the political, economic and legal dimensions of international relations (IR), and 2) arranges lectures, conferences and discussions in order to promote greater interest in IR issues.
