The Association on Third World Affairs (ATWA) is an independent, non-profit membership organization which promotes fresh approaches to, and clearer understanding of, societies undergoing fundamental transitions. It works with countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Asia as well as traditional “Third World” areas of Africa, Latin America, Middle East and South Asia.
