The Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) is Taiwan's policy think-tank for economic and industry-related research with the aim to inform the country's economic and industrial policies as well as offering expertise on industrial development strategies. It also strives to serve as a platform for the exchange of local and international economy-related knowledge.
