The Institute for Human Rights is a research institute founded in 1985, and is situated in the Faculty of Social Sciences, business and economics at Åbo Akademi University. Its principal aim is to promote research, provide education and disseminate information relating to the protection of human rights. The Institute has a long experience in organising human rights courses of high standards.
