The Institute of Defence Technologies (IDT) is a research institute affiliated with the Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania. The main mission of IDT is to organize, coordinate and carry out scientific research and design – testing activities in defense technologies, organize approbation and implementation of the developed equipment and technologies, to participate in preparation of highly qualified specialists, take part in university studies, carry out experimentation and consultation activities and contribute to the development and strengthening defense and national security systems of the country.
