The Danish Institute for Human Rights is Denmark's national human rights institution that carries out various tasks. These include 1) advising the Danish government, the parliament, ministries and public authorities on human rights, among other things, when new legislation is suggested, 2) producing analyses and research on human rights, 3) carrying out specific projects domestically to promote equal treatment and advise victims of discrimination, and 4) working with international states, independent organizations and the corporate sector to enable them to strengthen human rights in their respective countries.
