The Center for International Trade and Security (CITS), which is a research center based at the University of Georgia, promotes peace and prosperity through programs that focus on 1) the protection of nuclear, chemical, and biological materials; 2) the prevention of nuclear trafficking; 3) the pursuit of denuclearization; and 4) the mitigation of threats posed by the trade in technologies and materials that underlie weapons of mass destruction.
