The Minority Rights Group International (MRG) is an NGO that works to secure the rights of 1) ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities, and 2) indigenous peoples worldwide. More specifically, the MRG provides education and training programs that enable minorities to claim their rightful place in society. It also carries out media and advocacy work, lobbies governments and the UN, and produces publications that feature the latest research on minority and indigenous rights.
