The Council for a Livable World (CLW) advocates a principled approach to national security and foreign policy, and aims to increase peace and security and to reduce the threat of war and nuclear weapons. It provides senators and members of Congress with technical and scientific information that helps them make intelligent decisions about weapons of mass destruction - nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, nuclear nonproliferation and other national security issues.
