The Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) is a nongovernmental organization that seeks to 1) enhance people's understanding of this portion of the continent, and 2) promote positive neighborly relations within the region. To facilitate these goals, IMD provides ready access to information, contacts, speakers and partners in Austria and abroad; engages in research; and stages events.
