The Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) is a US Department of Defense institute that focuses on educating, connecting, and empowering security practitioners in order to advance Asia-Pacific security. It fulfills these objectives primarily through 1) its comprehensive program of executive education and workshops, and 2) developing and sustaining relationships among security practitioners and national security establishments throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
