The Partnership for Global Security (PGS) helps develop new US-Russian cooperative nuclear security initiatives and helps ensure existing programs are implemented appropriately. The PGS mounts a global effort to decrease the dangers posed by weapons of mass destruction (WMD) by working for a world in which all WMDs are secured and the threat of their use is eliminated.
