The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is an independent nonprofit group of citizens and scientists that aim to build a cleaner, healthier environment and a safer world. The UCS' issues of focus are food security, vehicle emissions, environmental health, energy and international security. The UCS seeks a great change in humanity's stewardship of the earth.
