The East-West Parliamentary Practice Project (EWPPP) is an independent organization which started as a joint initiative of the European Cultural Foundation and the Ford Foundation intended to support parliamentary democracy in Central/Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. It seeks to strengthen parliaments in countries undergoing democratic, political, social and economic transition, as well as promoting sustainable partnerships between parliaments and civil society organizations.
