The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) aims to protect life, property, and natural resources in an effort to promote conservation. Its mission is to 1) understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans, and coasts; 2) share that knowledge and information with others; and 3) conserve and manage coastal and marine ecosystems and resources.
