The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is a part of the US Department of the Treasury and charters, regulates and supervises national banks to ensure a safe, sound and competitive banking system that supports the citizens, communities and economy of the US. The OCC also combats money laundering and terrorist financing.
