Organizations and Resources Network
The West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) is a regional organization that first arose as a response to the area's civil wars in the 1990s. In continuing to serve its conflict prevention and peace-building duties, the network 1) provides a multi-stakeholder platform for dialogue, experience sharing and learning, and 2) complements other efforts to ensure sustainable peace and development in West Africa and beyond.
