The mission of the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) is an independent international organization with peacekeeping responsibilities in the Sinai. MFO supervises the implementation of the security provisions of the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty and employs best efforts to prevent any violation of its terms.
