The Rift Valley Institute (RVI) is an independent, nonprofit research and educational association based in Kenya, the US and the UK. It primarily focuses on 1) linking East African perspectives with global information systems; 2) conducting action-oriented social research and training; and 3) providing open access digital materials on Sudan, the Horn of Africa and more.
