The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is an independent, internationally-minded research organization that works to build a fairer, more sustainable world through the use of evidence, action and influence in partnership with others. Most significantly, IIED engages directly with the world's most vulnerable people in order to ensure that they have a say in those policy areas that most closely affect them.
