The Centre for Development Studies (CDS) is an independent research institute that focuses on applied economics, topics related to socio-economic development, and training programs. Its research activities specifically center on six distinct themes: 1) agriculture and natural resources; 2) gender, migration and population; 3) health and education; 4) poverty, vulnerability and social security; 5) industry; and 6) trade and technology.
