The Caledon Institute of Social Policy is a private, nonprofit research organization that works to shape public opinion and foster open debate on a variety of social policy issues, including income security, community capacity-building, taxation, social spending, employment development services, social services, disability support and health. The Institute also develops and promotes concrete, practicable proposals for the reform of social programs at all levels of government and within the private sector.
