The Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSR), a semi-autonomous research institution within the Faculty of Social Studies at the University of Ghana, is dedicated to promoting socio-economic development in Ghana and in Africa in general. Subjects covered by the organization include economic growth, poverty, fiscal policy and micro/macro econometric modeling.
