IDE is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping poor farmers in developing countries escape poverty. IDE uses business principles to facilitate unsubsidized market systems in which the rural poor can participate effectively as micro-entrepreneurs and earn income. IDE is an international organization based in the US with affiliates in Canada, India and the UK.
