The Institut québécois des hautes études internationales (HEI) at Université Laval is an institute of advanced studies dedicated to both researching and teaching international studies. The institute is a place of interdisciplinary synergy, as it brings together researchers, professors, and students from diverse disciplines. Aside from teaching and research, the institute is also responsible for the diffusion of knowledge, through publications and organizing presentations, conferences, and symposiums. Furthermore, it is a center of debate on international issues and on Canadas and Quebecs role in the world.
