The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (TFD) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that promotes democracy and human rights. More specifically, the Foundation strives to 1) play a positive role in consolidating Taiwan's democracy and fortifying its commitment to human rights, and 2) join forces with other democratic organizations and networks around the world.
