The Lion Rock Institute is an independent, nonprofit think tank that dedicates itself to promoting free market principles as a foundation for government policies in Hong Kong. The topics investigated by the institute vary from year to year but in the past have included finance and monetary policy; town planning, housing and redevelopment; social mobility; and antitrust measures.
