Global Security
The growing complexity of border-transcending security issues confronts the international community with a plethora of challenges. Within the topic of “Global Security”, we examine how geopolitical tensions and interdependencies, emerging technologies, and the decisions of state and non-state actors shape international security in an increasingly interconnected world. In this context, we focus on the impact of key current events on the international security landscape as well as on longer-term dynamics and shifts in global security.
