Global Security Team
The team brings together expertise in transatlantic and Indo-Pacific security, middle-power behavior, emerging and dual-use technologies, economic security and geoeconomics, and research and knowledge security. Through flagship publications, targeted policy briefs, anticipation exercises, and policy dialogues, the team delivers actionable insights for decision-makers and contributes to international debates on global security governance.
Dr Gorana Grgić leads the Global Security Team. Her research interests include US and EU foreign policy, NATO, and the nexus between Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific security.
Leo Eigner’s research focuses on science diplomacy as well as Swiss and Euro-Atlantic science and technology policy.
Gesine Weber's research interests include European security and defense in the context of global powershifts, grand strategy, the global order, and Europe–China relations.
Ivan Zaccagnini's research interests focus on Emerging and Disruptive Technologies, Future of Warfare and Great Power Competition.
