Leo Eigner is a Senior Researcher in the Swiss and Euro-Atlantic Security Team at the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich. He is also co-editor of the policy brief series Policy Perspective.
Leo holds a MPhil in Modern European History from the University of Oxford and a BA in History from King’s College London. Before joining the CSS in 2023, Leo worked at the Swiss Science Council, the advisory board to the Federal Council for all issues related to science, education, research, and innovation policy.
His areas of research include science diplomacy as well as Swiss and Euro-Atlantic science and technology policy.
