This report by the United States Institute of Peace summarizes the presentations given at a workshop on teaching about the religious other. The purpose of the workshop was to share experiences and educational materials among people that have experience in teaching about one of the three Abrahamic faiths to members of the other two. The author concludes that teaching about the religious other can be vital in countries experiencing religious conflict, but that mechanisms must be developed to enable professors in this field to share their materials and approaches with others.
