This paper compares the two aircraft contending to be the next Royal Australian Air Force battlefield airlifter: the Airbus C-295 and the Alenia’s C-27J Spartan. It outlines the two options and uses a selection criteria to compare the merits of both. The authors state that the final decision will influence the ADF's capabilities in the upcoming years.
