Looking at Roma Women from Southern Romania, this paper studies the relationship between housing and feelings of belonging. The author highlights that Roma women express their aspirations to belong through domestic practices and homemaking activities. Housing, she argues, triggers a sense of belonging and therefore needs to be a part of social inclusion projects and initiatives.
