This "AUSTRAL" issue examines a variety of topics in the field of South-South Cooperation. The articles cover issues such as Mearsheimer's hypotheses regarding US unipolarity, the reformulation of the concept of insurgency in the context of South America, regional organizations such as the BRICS in the context of increasing South-South cooperation, and implications of the adoption of the concept of Blue Amazon for Brazil. In addition, the authors examine Turkish foreign policy, events in Libya during the Arab Spring, Brazilian foreign policy in relation to AIDS treatment in Africa, and international mechanisms to fight corruption in transnational corporations.
