This transcript is a summary of a discussion examining the legal implications of using force in the conflict in Syria. The participants look at the legality of humanitarian intervention in non-international armed conflicts as well as the arguments surrounding the responsibility to protect. They conclude that the illegal use of force is being used in several places, disguised as 'legitimate' - legitimacy, they argue however, is not enough to justify an unlawful action.
