In order to promote the ‘women, peace, and security agenda’, this report examines the relationship between men and conflict. More specifically, it argues that men are not merely the perpetrators of organized violence. They are also its witnesses, victims, and survivors. As a result, this more complex, cliché-assaulting view needs to be better integrated into peace and security studies/policies. The report concludes by recommending ways to do this.
