In light of escalations in terrorism, secessionist insurgency, and sectarian conflict in Pakistan, this paper discusses the role of police stations in policing in Pakistan. The author then makes a set of recommendations for reforming the procedures used in Pakistan's police stations and boosting their involvement in improving the country's security.
