In this speech transcript, Chatham House’s Robin Niblett discusses how the United Kingdom is adapting to a changing global order and how it adjusted itself in the past. Niblett’s conclusion is that Britain can no longer chart its own destiny by leveraging its own means in the international arena. The country’s strategic strength is now indissolubly linked to its European neighbors and the EU.
