This bulletin discusses India’s naval strategy and expansion, as well as the operations and training activities its Navy is currently involved in. According to the bulletin's author, the primary reason for the expansion is to secure the country's territorial waters, particularly against possible future Chinese encroachment. The expansion is also being driven by India’s willingness to contribute to broader peacekeeping and humanitarian functions at sea.
