This paper examines the status of minority languages in the Georgian province of Samtskhe-Javakheti. The author discusses the legal aspects of the minority languages, and additionally, evaluates how these issues are dealt in Romania and Croatia. Finally, the study argues to promote bilingualism and encourage integration and suggests these models for the Georgian government.
