This paper examines the dimension of culture in the social integration of minorities and the institutional framework of social integration in the Czech Republic. It evaluates the national action plan of Czech Republic under the European Union’s Open Method of Co-ordination (OMC) on Social Inclusion in terms of cultural policies and their impact on the social inclusion of ethnic minorities. This paper also examines foreign communities as well as the cost-effectiveness of government education policies for the Roma community.
