This paper examines the ethnic structure and legal protection of ethnic minorities in Slovenia. It evaluates the National Action Plans (NAPs) of Slovenia under the European Union’s Open Method of Co-ordination (OMC) on social inclusion in terms of cultural policies and their impact on the social inclusion of ethnic minorities. Further examined is the socio-economic development of the Republic of Slovenia.
