This report presents seven pre-school and elementary school peace education programs from Serbia and shows how they fit into the field of peace education. Using a broader approach oriented to informal learning of attitudes, values and behavior, the paper discusses methodology and content of these programs and presents evaluations of the program's effects. In a first part, the paper examines factors confronting peace education efforts in Serbia, including broad social and political factors. Subsequently, the paper introduces the seven peace education programs mentioned above.
